EveryDrop EDR3RXD1 Water Filter 3

The EveryDrop EDR3RXD1 Water Filter 3 is designed to provide filtered water and ice from compatible refrigerators. This genuine EveryDrop filter replacement uses advanced Triple Filtration Technology to reduce specified contaminants while helping provide crisp, clean and refreshing-tasting water. It is a convenient replacement option for households that want filtered refrigerator water without installing a separate countertop or under-sink filtration system.

Advanced Filtration

The EDR3RXD1 features advanced Triple Filtration Technology powered by a coconut shell-based activated carbon core. The filtration process works through three stages: large-particle filtration, medium-size micro-filtration and targeted microscopic absorption. According to EveryDrop, the filter is certified under NSF/ANSI Standards 42, 53 and 401 for specific contaminant-reduction claims.

EveryDrop states that the EDR3RXD1 is certified to reduce 74 potentially harmful contaminants, including heavy metals, volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and microplastics. It is also certified to reduce 99% of microplastics and 99% of lead under the applicable certification claims.

This filtration performance makes the EveryDrop EDR3RXD1 Water Filter 3 a practical choice for everyday refrigerator water and ice filtration.

Filtered Water and Ice

The EveryDrop Refrigerator Water Filter 3 provides filtered water directly through a compatible refrigerator's existing water system. It also supplies filtered water to the refrigerator's ice maker, helping provide cleaner-tasting water and ice for everyday use.

Whether you are filling a glass, preparing food, making coffee or using ice for cold beverages, the EDR3RXD1 provides convenient access to filtered water without the need to rely on bottled water for every use.

EveryDrop describes the EDR3RXD1 as an official refrigerator filter developed for compatible Whirlpool Corporation brands.

Compatible Refrigerators

The EDR3RXD1 is the official filter for compatible refrigerators from leading Whirlpool Corporation brands, including:

• Whirlpool
• Maytag
• KitchenAid
• Amana
• JennAir

Refrigerator compatibility can vary by model, so it is important to check your refrigerator's model number before purchasing a filter replacement. Using the correct filter helps ensure proper installation and operation.

The EDR3RXD1 also replaces certain previous filter models, including P1WB2 and P1WB2L, according to EveryDrop.

Easy Filter Replacement

Replacing your refrigerator water filter is an important part of regular refrigerator maintenance. EveryDrop recommends replacing the EDR3RXD1 approximately every six months or after 200 gallons, depending on usage and the refrigerator system.

EveryDrop states that refrigerator water filters can be replaced in under five minutes when following the appropriate replacement instructions. Regular replacement helps maintain the expected filtration performance of the filter.

When replacing an EDR2RXD1 or another refrigerator filter, always confirm the filter number required for your specific refrigerator before ordering, as different refrigerator models use different filter designs.
